Meu de vuelta con Having fun.El supergrupo gallego que editó un par de discos excelentes a mediados de los 2000, prepara el lanzamiento de un nuevo álbum del cual esperamos mucho gracias a este bonito adelanto que nos ofrecen. Te lo contamos aquí en mirollo.es:
A mediados de los 2000, de las cenizas de la Elephant Band y los primeros Deluxe salió Meu, un supergrupo gallego que editó un par de discos excelentes y giró durante un breve espacio de tiempo.
Sus conciertos eran incendiarios y solían dejar boquiabiertos a quién no los conocía por su pericia musical y la actitud poco común de su frontman. Ahora, muchísimos años después, cuando ya pocos se acuerdan de ellos, vuelven con un nuevo disco excepcional.

“Fourteen years after their last concert, Meu returns to the pop circuit. And they do so with the weight of experience and a suitcase full of timeless songs, crafted with a punk pulse, power-pop melodies, and a variety of nuances that invoke the most genuine new wave. But above all, with a desire to prove who they are. One of the most significant bands that Galician pop has given us in the 21st century.
Craftsmanship and inspiration in order to reclaim albums as outstanding as What’s Up? (Rock On, 2005) and Did you Hear? (Rock On, 2007), unmistakable examples of a methodology of doing things right, which began in 2004 with the formation of a supergroup made up of members from Deluxe, Elephant Band, Ultracuerpos, and Triceratops, embodied in its first lineup by Ricardo Saavedra, Nacho Mora, Mikelini, and Ramón Saleta.
From such materials, an irreplaceable proposal emerged throughout so many years of absence. Now returning to claim the place that was always theirs and that no one knew how to fill in all this time.”
